For more than 50 years, Granger Missionary Church has gathered God's people in this community for worship, teaching, and fellowship.
A Warm Family of Faith
Whether you're in 7th grade or 70 years old, there's a place for you — in Sunday School, Nite L.I.F.E., Adventure Club, FLOCKS, or our other small groups.

Our two Sunday morning services combine timeless hymns with current worship music, led by our Worship Team, Instruments of Praise, and Sanctuary Choir.
Our Story
Fifty Years of Faithfulness in Granger
Granger Missionary Church has been a part of this community for more than 50 years. What began as a small group of believers committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ has grown into a full congregation of worship, teaching, and ministry — and it's still growing.
We are part of the Missionary Church denomination, an evangelical family of more than 1,500 congregations in 28 countries. Our heritage rests on the conviction that the Scriptures are the source of doctrine and life, with a heart for the "warmed heart," for the lost, and for the whole world.
Through good seasons and challenging ones, one thing has stayed the same: our passion for Jesus and the people of Granger and the surrounding community.

Rev. Bob L. Renner — Senior Pastor
Pastor Bob has shepherded the flock at GMC with tender care since 1989. A 1982 graduate of Vennard Bible College in University Park, Iowa, and ordained in 1983, he has ministered in the Missionary Church for over 20 years. His passion for Jesus and this community is evident in his practical, inspiring messages — the centerpiece of our church.
Rev. Andy Bird — Youth Pastor
Pastor Andy and his wife, Elizabeth, joined GMC in 1999 from Burlington, NC, and oversee our dynamic youth ministry, Nite L.I.F.E. A graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, IL, with a degree in Christian Education and a music minor, his vision is that our youth will meet Jesus, know Jesus, and serve like Jesus.
Dan Peterson — Worship & Outreach
Director of Worship and Outreach Ministries, Dan has led GMC's energetic worship ministries for more than 12 years. He leads the Sanctuary Choir, the Instruments of Praise orchestra, and the Company of the King drama troupe, and leads the congregation in community outreaches. Dan and his wife, Linda, have called Granger home for more than 21 years.

Outreach
A Church That Reaches Out
Our faith isn't meant to stay inside the building. In 2000, under the ministry of Pastor Tim Fletcher, our congregation planted Pathway Community Church in Dowagiac, Michigan — a true daughter church born out of the vision and faithfulness of this church family.
That same heart drives the community outreaches led by Dan Peterson and Crossings, the ministry Pastor Andy leads for single adults and college students, offering caring friends and family to anyone who needs them.
Our Heritage
Our Denomination: The Missionary Church
The Missionary Church is an evangelical denomination of more than 160,000 people in over 1,500 congregations across 28 countries, with more than 100 missionaries serving in over 20 countries. Born from the spiritual revivals of the late 19th century, it remains committed to church planting, world missions, and the authority of Scripture.
Its national office is in Fort Wayne, Indiana — just a short drive from our home in Granger — and the denomination joins with its local and district ministries, World Partners USA, the Missionary Church Investment Foundation, Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana, and the Church Multiplication Training Center to communicate the message of Christ with an aggressive strategy.
